„Antrenat de Majorat” program

Our education program

The program is held in high schools across the country and targets teens who are approaching the legal age and for whom gambling activities will soon be allowed. It was designed to play a dual role.

That of educating young people so that they can make the right decisions, to know the risks of engaging in activities that do not correspond to their level of psychosocial development and that may affect their further development. And from here comes the second role, that of preventing problems related to compulsive gambling.

HOW DO THE SEMINARS TAKE PLACE?

The meetings take place in the form of interactive informal discussions, in which Dr. Cristian Andrei, psychotherapist, expert and ambassador of the „Joc Responsabil” Association, talks to 11th and 12th grade pupils about what is really important in social networking and how teens should react to the temptations of adult entertainment.

Emphasis is also placed on how adolescents should position themselves in relation to the value and earning of money and how to assert it other than by having fun or making quick money. Thus, during the „Antrenat de Majorat” sessions, an atmosphere of maximum interactivity is created, extremely active and intense for the participants.

So far, the „Antrenat de Majorat” program has reached 2,200 11th and 12th grade pupils from 15 high schools located in 10 cities (Arad, Brașov, Brăila, Botoșani, Bucharest, Constanța, Craiova, Oradea, Suceava and Zalău) and included over 200 teachers coordinating or involved in the project. By the end of this year, the „Antrenat de Majorat” program will reach six other cities – Alba-Iulia, Buzau, Cluj-Napoca, Galati, Iași and Timisoara, as well as other high schools in the capital city.
